Editor's Postscript
Do you know what the Yanmar mission statement says? As no doubt many of you are unfamiliar with it, I have reprinted it here.
“We strive to provide sustainable solutions for needs that are essential to human life. We focus on the challenges our customers face in food production and harnessing power, thereby enriching people’s lives for all our tomorrows.”
That is, we have defined the scope of our business in terms of two very broad areas, namely food production and harnessing power, and our engineers are working hard to develop new technologies that will help us fulfill this mission.
With YANMAR Technical Review, meanwhile, we will set out to present the work of these engineers in as much detail as possible. Our intention is to publish four issues of the magazine annually.
I sincerely hope that the publication will prove valuable to you for many years to come.
